Little is known of Janet's life at present. On January 25th 1726 she married
Patrick Henderson in Kinclaven parish, Perthshire, with the OPR record as follows (OPR:365/10/247):

Patrick Henderson and Janet Young being regularly proclaimed were married.
Janet and Patrick are known to have had at least one
son, though as the birth record cannot be found, it is assumed that this generation of the family were dissenters, as
is known to be the case in later generations.
