Isabel Munro 17?? - bef. 1840
Isabel Munro was Calum's and Jamie's great
great great great great grandmother.
It is not yet known when or where Isabel was born, but it would have
been towards the latter part of the Eighteenth Century.
Isabel married Donald MacGillivray on 5th September 1796, in Inverness, Scotland. The couple had at least two sons. From the limited amount
known, it seems that the couple lived in Edinburgh in 1808, and that after this they moved to Portsmouth in England.
Isabel
undoubtedly returned to Inverness when her husband left the militia, but it is unclear what became of her after this, except
that she must have died prior to 1840, when her husband remarried to Margaret Fraser.
